Today, we’re going to be reviewing the MotoCaddy S1 and I’ll be sharing my honest thoughts after testing out this electric golf cart. A friend of ours actually sells these and asked us to come out and test them, so that being said, how did it stack up to the rest?
Long story short, I think the S1 is a great cart for the price (on the lower end compared to others) and it was one of my favorites because it was so simple. It seemed to be one of the better-made carts out there and I found it a lot easier to use than some of the others. It didn’t have all those dumb features that some of the 2k models have, and it did the main job it was made to do. It doesn’t have automatic distance control and just like any battery, it needs to be replaced after a while. Other than that, I liked the cart because I didn’t feel nearly as tired after the round as before which was awesome, and that’s why I recommend it.
If that’s all the info you were looking for then great. But if you want a more detailed review of the pushcart, be sure to watch the full video or blog post below!

Motocaddy S1 First Impressions
I’ve always thought these electric golf carts were pretty DUMB, but we know a guy who sells them and he offered to let us come test them out (we couldn’t say no).
Basically, all you have to do is select the speed you want it to go and it’ll move until you press stop (on the cart itself or on the remote).
The biggest benefit is on hills because it’ll help you get up hills and then it’ll slow down going down hills so you won’t slip or anything like that.
All you have to do is turn the dial on the handle and it’ll speed up or slow down. If you press the dial it’ll stop. Simple as that…
I found it pretty simple and straightforward to use (a lot more than others). Some of the other ones we tried had a lot more functions and they were a bit trickier to use, which I didn’t exactly like, and preferred this simple one.
If you park it on most hills it’ll stay there, but there’s also a parking brake you can use on steep hills so it doesn’t roll away.
How Did The Electric Cart Perform
The first thing I was expecting was for it to be kind of tough folding down and carrying around, but it was actually much EASIER than I first thought.
I found it comfortable enough taking it around the course and I have to admit, it looked pretty damn cool…
The one we tried came with a lithium battery which was pretty quick to charge and we were told the battery would last around 75-100 rounds depending on the course terrain.
Overall, it did pretty much everything I needed it to do out there (power, stability, easy) and that’s why I liked it.

Who’s It Best For/Not For
Even though it was a pretty cool device, it’s not going to be for someone who’s tight on a budget (no kidding) or someone who doesn’t golf much (unless you got money to burn?).
The price will only be worth it (in my opinion) if you’re going to be using it quite a bit. Otherwise, go with a much cheaper pushcart.

I’m sticking with my pushcart since I just bought it recently, but I think when it starts falling apart I’ll pick one up of these electric carts.
