Today, we’re going to be reviewing the Bag Boy Quad XL and I’ll be sharing my honest thoughts after testing out the golf cart. I’ve tried and tested so many different pushcarts over the past few weeks since I was in my market for a new one, so that being said, how did it perform for me?
Long story short, this golf cart was super solid for the price it’s at. It’s reasonably priced and does just as good of a job as other golf carts. It’s nice and light but it’s still durable and well made. It had enough storage for all your gear, snacks, and clothes. My favorite thing was how easy it was to set up and take down, unlike a lot of other carts out there. The only downside to the cart was that it wasn’t the most stable going sideways along a hill. It’s not a huge deal or anything like that, but other than that, I’d give the Quad XL a thumbs up.
If that’s all the info you were looking for then great. But if you want a more detailed review of the cart, be sure to watch the full video or blog post below!

Bag Boy XL First Impressions
The first thing I noticed was the weight of the cart. It weighs about 16.5 pounds which puts it somewhere in the middle compared to other carts. Folded down, it was about 20 inches tall so it would fit in your trunk no problem with 1 or 2 other bags. My previous cart was pretty big and it was a big pain trying to fit everything in a small trunk, so I was glad to see this one so small.
Some of the other carts out there were like an Ikea desk and were pretty complicated to set up, but the Quad XL was pretty simple. All you have to do is unlock the lever, pull up, and then lock the lever. Simple as that.
So far so good, but how did it perform…
How Did The Pushcart Perform?
Pushing the cart around was nice and smooth and the handle can be adjusted to whatever height is most comfortable to you. The tires seemed to be well built (for the time we’ve had it) and would be something that’ll last a while.
The brake was also pretty solid and you didn’t have to fight with it to lock it in place.
The only downside I could find was the stability when you’re going sideways along a hill. Up and down wasn’t a problem, but the narrow wheelbase could tip the cart over if you’re not careful. It’s not a huge deal or anything like that but it’s just something to know.

Pros
- The cart was light, durable, and fairly stable.
- It had a good amount of storage for all your gear, snacks, and clothes.
- It’s super easy to set up and takedown.
Cons
- Its price is reasonable.
- Might tip over going sideways along a steep hill (up/down was fine).

- Price score: 8
- Durability score: 9
- Personal score: 8
My Final Thoughts
Overall, I really liked this pushcart because it did the job it was designed to do and the price was great. It had all the storage I needed and it was comfortable to push around.
I’ve tested quite a few different carts, some were a lot more expensive, and the Quad XL was just as good as any of them in my opinion. That’s why I’d give it a thumbs up and recommend it.
