MotoCaddy S7 Electric Cart Review 2024 – The TRUTH Revealed

Today, we’re going to be reviewing the MotoCaddy S7 and I’ll be sharing my honest thoughts after testing out this electric golf cart. A friend of ours actually sells these and asked us to come out and test them, so that being said, how did it stack up to the rest?

Long story short, even though it’s an expensive cart (compared to regular pushcarts) I definitely liked the S7 more than some of the other electric carts. I found it really easy to put together, set it up, and take it down which was awesome. From what we could tell, it was really well built and seemed like something that’s going to last long-term. What I liked best about it was the fact that it was so simple and straightforward to use. Some of the other ones were way too complicated so it was nice seeing this one so easy. You’ll still need to take some time getting used to it (like anything else) and it’s definitely bigger than your regular pushcart, but it’s pretty damn cool and is almost like having your own caddy out there. That’s why I’d recommend it.

If that’s all the info you were looking for then great. But if you want a more detailed review of the pushcart, be sure to watch the full video or blog post below!

Motocaddy S7 First Impressions

I still struggle a bit with these LAZY electric carts, but a friend of ours asked us to come out and give them a try, so how could we say no…

The S7 comes in either white or black and it’s pretty straightforward to set up. I was expecting it to be a bit tricky but all you really had to do was connect 2 parts and you’re good to go.

Compared to some of the other electric carts out there, the S7 seemed a lot more STURDY and seemed to have more POWER (since it has 2 motors).

What I like most about MotoCaddy is that they keep things SIMPLE and don’t have all these dumb things you don’t really need like some of the other carts.

The dashboard on the cart itself was super straightforward and just had a turning dial to change the speed and a button to stop the cart.

The remote was easy to use as well and pretty much only had a few buttons for forward, reverse, left, right, and stop (you don’t need a Ph.D. to use as some of the others).

How Did The Electric Cart Perform

I’ll admit that it took a little bit of time for me to feel comfortable using the thing, but just like anything else, you’ll catch on pretty quickly.

What’s nice is that if you don’t touch the remote for 45 seconds or it gets too far ahead of you it’ll actually stop so nobody gets run over (unless your buddy is ahead of you).

Stability and power were also TOP-NOTCH compared to some of the other carts we tested and I didn’t feel nearly as tired after the round as I normally do.

Overall, I really liked the S7 because of the performance and ease of use.

Who’s It Best For/Not For

I’d say it’ll only be worth picking up if you’re going to use it A LOT or you aren’t worried about paying up for it.

Yeah, it’s pretty damn cool and is almost like having your own caddy out there, but if you’re going to use it a few times per year I’d probably just stick to a normal cart. Or, you can go with the cheaper Motocaddy S1.

A. We liked both models but the S7 was cheaper and it does the job just fine. I’d go with the S7 for sure.

Motocaddy S7 vs Stewart X9

A. Again, the Stewart is probably the most expensive golf cart out there and I don’t think it’s worth the extra cost. It has automatic follow and all that but do you REALLY need that? I personally don’t.

My Final Thoughts

Overall, if you’re in the market for a new electric golf cart and have the money to spend, I’d highly recommend the S7. It was the middle of the pack in terms of price and it did its job really well.

It was more solid than a lot of the other ones and it was way easier to use. That’s why I’d give it a thumbs up and recommend it.
