Today, we’re going to be talking about the best Titleist golf cart bags that we’ve tried and tested over the past few weeks. We tested both high end and lower end bags, so that being said, which 2 ranked at the top of our list?
What we did was we rated each cart bag based on features, style, quality, storage, and price and then picked our favorite high-end model cheaper model. The 2 best cart bags from Titleist were:
- The Titleist Players 5k.
- The Titleist Lightweight.
The Players 5k was our favorite “expensive” bag while the Lightweight was our favorite “cheaper” bag. There were other bags that were solid as well but these were our overall favorites. If that’s all the info you were looking for then great. If you want a more detailed review of each bag, be sure to watch the video or read the blog post below.

The Features
Let’s started with the Players 5k. This is my favorite high-end Titleist bag because it’s both super light (about 10-11 lbs) and is super well made. With the price it has, I was thinking it better be damn good and I’m glad to see that it was.
It has 10 pockets for all your gear and snacks and it has 6 full-length club dividers to keep things organized. Overall, this was definitely one of the top “expensive” bags I’ve tested. It’s probably not the best option for the average weekend golfer but if you’re out multiple times per week, it could be.
Now the Lightweight bag. This is their cheaper model but I still found it really well made. Most of the cheaper bags that are super light aren’t built very well and end up falling apart after a couple of seasons. From what I could see, it’s going to last quite a while, which is awesome.
It also comes with 14 club dividers and they’re all full length. A lot of bags have either one or only a couple of compartments for the clubs and everything gets bunched together. This is what makes your clubs difficult to put in and take out.
The Style
Obviously, style isn’t the most important thing but if you’re going to go out there and hack the ball around you better look good. Both of the bags are built well and look really good.
The Lightweight wasn’t the most eye-catching bag in my opinion but it was definitely better than some of the other ones out there. The one we tried out was red, but I think the black one would be a bit nicer.

On the other hand, I really liked the look of the 5k and that’s why it’s my favorite. There are a few different colors that it comes in but my favorite would have to be black or dark grey.
The Quality
The quality of the bag is the most important thing for me because there’s really no point buying one that’s going to fall apart in a few seasons. I’ve had this happen a couple of times where the zipper fell apart after a couple of times using it.
That’s why I’d rather pay up, get something good, and have it for the long haul (if not forever). So many of the bags these days are made so light that there’s barely any material, and the material that’s there is complete garbage.
The good thing about Titleist is that all of their products seem to be quality and these 2 bags were definitely that (especially the 5k). I tried to test them as well as I could, so I was tough on the zippers and everything held up nicely.
The Storage
Both of these bags were completely fine when it comes to storage and they had plenty of room for all my stuff. I don’t know about you but I’ve never seen a bag that didn’t have enough storage (minus the Sunday bag).
I don’t bring that much out on the course but I had lots of room for all my clubs, gear, jackets, snacks, and drinks. Overall, the storage was perfect for both models and I don’t see any reason why that wouldn’t be the case for you.
The Price
Since Titleist is a high-end brand, their products are usually high-end as well and this was absolutely the case here. There are cheaper options out there when it comes to golf bags, but like I was saying before, you normally get what you pay for and that’s why I’d rather pay up and get something that’ll last long-term.
The Lightweight bag price wasn’t too bad but the 5k was near the top of the list for sure. The price is always changing so be sure to check out the current price to see if there are any sales going on.
Players 5k Pros
- I thought the look of the bag was top-notch.
- It was super light and well built (would last for years).
- It had plenty of room for everything.
Players 5k Issues
- The only real downside was the price.
Lightweight Pros
- It’s quite a bit cheaper than the 5k.
- It was plenty of room as well.
- It has full-length club dividers.
Lightweight Issues
- It didn’t look as good as the 5k.
- Other than that, not many negatives.
My Final Thoughts
Overall, if you’re in the market for a new golf cart bag I’d highly recommend either the Titleist Players 5k or the Lightweight version. Both are great options in my opinion and it really comes down to how much you want to spend. The 5k is a lot more but it should really last forever if you take care of it. The Lightweight will also last years as well.
