Today, I\u2019m going to be reviewing the&nbsp;<strong>Optishot 2 Golf In A Box<\/strong>&nbsp;system and giving my honest thoughts after giving it a test at home. I\u2019ll also show you the cheapest place I could find it for sale, so continue reading.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The Optishot 2 Golf in a box is one of my favorite golf devices and would highly recommend picking it up if you have the spare cash. It\u2019s not the best or most accurate simulator out there but it\u2019s a fraction the cost and is super fun to use. The basic setup isn\u2019t overly expensive and you can play a number of popular courses from around the world. I ended up practicing a bunch on it and it\u2019s been able to improve my consistency on the course.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Obviously, there are better simulators out there but they\u2019ll be 10x more expensive. The Optishot is our favorite option in this price range. If that\u2019s all the info you were looking for then great. A bunch of popular options is available to play.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I\u2019ve tried a few of these over the years and the reason I went with the Optishot was because of the&nbsp;<strong>multiplayer<\/strong>&nbsp;feature and it doesn\u2019t overpower my computer.&nbsp;Here\u2019s a demo video:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Was It Easy To Use?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the main reasons I went with the Optishot was because of how&nbsp;<strong>simple<\/strong>&nbsp;it was to set up and use.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some of the other ones take a number of steps and wouldn\u2019t be ideal for a lot of people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It took us around&nbsp;<strong>30 minutes<\/strong>&nbsp;to set everything up and all you really have to do is download the software from their website and hook up your computer. As long as you have a decent computer it should work fine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After everything has been&nbsp;<strong>downloaded<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>connected<\/strong>&nbsp;all you have to do is turn it on and select your course.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How Did The Optishot Perform?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If you\u2019re looking for something&nbsp;<strong>fun to do<\/strong>&nbsp;with your buddies, this could be a great option.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Out of all the options, I think this is the best multiplayer simulator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Most people will be using the simulator&nbsp;<strong>inside<\/strong>&nbsp;and it can sometimes be hard to swing your driver and woods (unless you have high ceilings).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When you\u2019re hitting balls you might have to&nbsp;<strong>hit off a tee<\/strong>&nbsp;because the pad will put green marks on your balls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It tracked my&nbsp;<strong>irons<\/strong>&nbsp;really well, the&nbsp;<strong>driver<\/strong>&nbsp;was a little bit off, and&nbsp;<strong>putting<\/strong>&nbsp;wasn\u2019t the best (the case with most simulators).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How Accurate Was The System?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>I wasn\u2019t really expecting it to be super accurate (compared to the $5000 simulators) but it was actually quite a bit&nbsp;<strong>better<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>than<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>I<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>expected.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I got it just for something fun to do but it was cool that it tracked your&nbsp;<strong>distance<\/strong>, club speed,&nbsp;<strong>swing<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>path<\/strong>, and ball flight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The data with my irons seemed to be&nbsp;<strong>fairly<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>close<\/strong>&nbsp;(within 5-7 yards) and it definitely helped improve my game (since I was practicing more).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Optishot Golf In A Box Specs<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure id=\"tablepress-13\" class=\"wp-block-table\"><table><thead><tr><th><strong>Product<\/strong><\/th><th><strong>Optishot Golf In A Box<\/strong><\/th><\/tr><\/thead><tbody><tr><td>Mat Size<\/td><td>4 x 5 Feet<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Net Size<\/td><td>7.5 x 8 x 3.5 Feet<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Net Weight<\/td><td>28 LBS<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Windows Requirement<\/td><td>Windows 7+<br>256MB Graphic Card<br>3GB Hard Drive<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Mac Requirement<\/td><td>Mac OS 10.8+<br>Intel Core Duo 2<br>3GB Hard Drive<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Courses<\/td><td>15 Included (<a href=\"https:\/\/optishotgolf.com\/pages\/included-courses\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">See Here<\/a>)<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Other Courses<\/td><td>Individual Purchase<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Players<\/td><td>4<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Room Height<\/td><td>8 Feet 8 Inches<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Pros<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>It\u2019s super&nbsp;<strong>simple<\/strong>&nbsp;to set up and get started.<\/li><li>It comes with&nbsp;<strong>15<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>courses<\/strong>&nbsp;(you can buy more for $30).<\/li><li>It works with real or&nbsp;<strong>foam<\/strong>&nbsp;balls.<\/li><li>The&nbsp;<strong>multiplayer<\/strong>&nbsp;mode is great.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Cons<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The&nbsp;<strong>putting<\/strong>&nbsp;wasn\u2019t that accurate (same for most).<\/li><li>You\u2019ll need&nbsp;<strong>high<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>ceilings<\/strong>&nbsp;to use your driver and woods.<\/li><li>The&nbsp;<strong>graphics<\/strong>&nbsp;aren\u2019t as good as some (but they\u2019re more $$).<\/li><li>You\u2019ll need a decent&nbsp;<strong>computer<\/strong>&nbsp;to run on.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Breakdown<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Performance Score: 9<\/li><li>Price Score: 8<\/li><li>Ease Of Use Score: 10<\/li><li><strong>My Personal Score: 9<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Frequently Asked Questions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Q. No. You\u2019d need a Skytrak or something else for that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Q.
