It&#039;s made to spin less off the tee and spin more close to the green. They&#039;re made for an 8-18 handicap and they&#039;re pretty durable balls. #6: Titleist DT Trusoft: This is my favorite Titleist golf ball for an average player and found it to be better on the green compared to the Taylormade. They didn&#039;t spin as much close to the green but they had a nice feel to them and weren&#039;t crazy expensive. #5: Bridgestone e12: This is my favorite Bridgestone golf ball for average golfers who prefer spin and control over pure distance. They weren&#039;t the longest ball out there but they made it pretty easy to stay in the fairway. #4: Wilson Fifty Elite: Wilson makes one of my favorite balls for average players because they aren&#039;t going to break the bank and they offer most of the features you&#039;d need. They aren&#039;t super long but you&#039;ll definitely lose less of them. #3: Taylormade Noodle: Believe it or not but the Noodle is actually still one of my favorite golf balls. Most weekend golfers can&#039;t compress the ball enough and for some reason continue to play ProV1&#039;s. These are designed for people who don&#039;t compress the ball enough to help with distance. #2: Callaway Supersoft: These are my favorite Callaway golf balls and they were actually the longest on the list for me. The only reason I had them ranked #2 is that they weren&#039;t as consistent as my #1 was off the tee. Other than that, they were close to being perfect. #1: Srixon Soft Feel: This is my favorite golf ball by far and is ranked in the top 2 of every single category. handicap<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These balls are designed to produce&nbsp;<strong>less spin&nbsp;<\/strong>with the driver&nbsp;(for that dreaded slice) and give&nbsp;<strong>more spin&nbsp;<\/strong>with your wedges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I haven\u2019t really used these too much but know people who do and they\u2019ve noticed an increase in fairways hit,&nbsp;<strong>more control<\/strong>&nbsp;with their wedges, and a similar distance to the other higher-end balls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Pros<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>They seem to be&nbsp;<strong>well<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>made<\/strong>&nbsp;and last a while.<\/li><li>They fly a lot&nbsp;<strong>straighter<\/strong>&nbsp;than some of spinning<\/strong>&nbsp;off the tee but it wasn\u2019t quite as good around the green (in my experience).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I didn\u2019t find them to be the&nbsp;<strong>longest or straightest<\/strong>&nbsp;off the tee but I did like them more than the Taylormade on the green.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They are&nbsp;<strong>under 2 bucks<\/strong>&nbsp;per ball and that\u2019s another of their price and overall performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I\u2019ve seen countless people pick up these balls, see that they\u2019re a Noodle, and throw them back.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Most average golfers&nbsp;<strong>can\u2019t compress<\/strong>&nbsp;the ball very much and these are designed for that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Every time I\u2019ve found a Noodle on the course it seemed to&nbsp;<strong>last me the entire<\/strong>&nbsp;rest of the round.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Pros<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>They are&nbsp;<strong>less than a buck<\/strong>&nbsp;per ball.<\/li><li>You don\u2019t have to compress the ball much to get some&nbsp;<strong>good distance<\/strong>.<\/li><li>It always seems to&nbsp;<strong>stay in play<\/strong>.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Cons<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>They don\u2019t&nbsp;<strong>feel<\/strong>&nbsp;as good around the greens.<\/li><li>They didn\u2019t offer a whole lot of&nbsp;<strong>control<\/strong>&nbsp;over the ball (but most average golfers able to&nbsp;<strong>hold really well<\/strong>&nbsp;on the green and they feel great when they\u2019re hit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They\u2019re pretty reasonably&nbsp;<strong>priced<\/strong>&nbsp;as well and offer some more workability than others on the list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The main reason I have them #2 is that they aren\u2019t quite as&nbsp;<strong>consistent<\/strong>&nbsp;as my 1st pick off the tee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Pros<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>They\u2019re the&nbsp;<strong>longest<\/strong>&nbsp;on the list (for me anyway).<\/li><li>My&nbsp;<strong>irons and wedges<\/strong>&nbsp;felt really solid with these balls (had good control).<\/li><li>My&nbsp;<strong>distance<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>control<\/strong>&nbsp;on the green was great.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 but they\u2019re&nbsp;<strong>under 2 bucks<\/strong>&nbsp;a ball.<\/li><li>They always seem to be&nbsp;<strong>sold<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>out<\/strong>&nbsp;in the stores.<\/li><li>They\u2019re the
