I\u2019ve tried and tested quite a few different devices like this, so that being said, how did the V4 stack up to the rest?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Long story short,&nbsp;<strong>at the time of this post the V4 is my favorite laser rangefinder. It\u2019s not the cheapest option out there but it\u2019s a high-end product from one of my favorite companies. I\u2019ve been using Bushnell rangefinders for hunting for years and love their products. I\u2019m not saying it was 100% perfect in terms of distance, but it was pretty darn close. Doesn\u2019t matter if it\u2019s a tree, creek, pond, bunker, or green, you\u2019ll be able to see how far away it is. I found it fairly easy to use and lock in on targets, it comes with a carrying case to keep it safe, and it has a 2-year warranty on it. Overall, would give it a thumbs up and recommend it.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If that\u2019s&nbsp;all the info you were looking for then great. They say it has 5x magnification and is 30% smaller than the previous V3. It\u2019s rainproof (not waterproof) and it comes with a 2-year warranty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The thing I liked best about this rangefinder was the fact that it vibrated once you lock in on a target. With some distance finders out there, you never really know if you\u2019ve locked in on the target, so it\u2019s nice to know for sure with this.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It also comes in a slope edition, and basically what that does is it takes into account elevation when it gives a distance. If your shot is 180 yards away, but uphill, it\u2019ll say it\u2019s longer. It\u2019ll do the opposite for downhill shots.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pretty cool and all but how did it perform\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How Did The Rangefinder Perform<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>I\u2019ve always been a Bushnell fan and they\u2019re probably one of the most well-known rangefinder companies out there. I think the new JOLT technology (what makes it vibrate) is a big plus with this model and I think it\u2019d help a lot of golfers with their distance control.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The V4 reads distances in both yards and meters, so it\u2019ll work wherever you are, and I found it to be pretty accurate (I don\u2019t know about +\/- 1 yards but it was close).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The only thing was that it can be a bit tricky getting used to navigating through everything. Once you do it 2-3 times it\u2019s not a problem though. Yeah, it\u2019ll help your game knowing the exact distance to targets, but if you only use it a couple of times per year, it\u2019s probably not worth it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s a high-end product with a higher-end price. There are cheaper options out there so if you don\u2019t golf a lot, go with a cheaper model. If you\u2019re going to use it a lot I\u2019d say it\u2019s well worth it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Pros<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>It can track the distance to anything.<\/li><li>It comes with a carrying case to protect it,<\/li><li>It comes with a 2-year warranty.<\/li><li>You can get it in slope mode.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Cons<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>It\u2019s more expensive than other models.<\/li><li>Some people had a tough time getting used to it.<\/li><li>Their customer service didn\u2019t seem to be the best according to other people.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Breakdown<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Performance score: 10<\/li><li>Price score: 7<\/li><li>Durability score: 10<\/li><li><strong>Personal score: 9<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">My Final Thoughts<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Overall, I really liked the Bushnell V4 and would say it\u2019s my favorite rangefinder at the time of writing this. It performed really well and I had no trouble with it. It seemed to be well made and it did the job it was designed to do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s more expensive than some of the other models out there, but in my opinion, the benefits are worth it if you\u2019re able to afford it and plan on using it a lot.
