(Full List)

80% of the golf club market is controlled by less than 10 of the major companies. There are always new companies that are joining the market and in this post, I’m going to be talking about how many different golf club manufacturers are out there and include a full list.

Currently, there are close to 50 different golf club manufacturers in the golf market. The majority of these companies sell multiple different clubs but there are a few who specialize in putters or wedges. The majority of these companies sell to the North American market but there are a number of them who serve the Asian or European markets.

I’ll continue adding new golf companies as I come across them so feel free to let me know anything I’ve left out. It’s almost impossible to know all of them but I spent quite a bit of time looking for different businesses that sell golf clubs in North America and the UK. I’ll include the list below in alphabetical order and link to their website.

Golf Club Manufacturers (Alphabetical)

Adams Golf

They were best known for their hybrids but they made pretty much every type of golf club out there. They were bought out in 2012 and they don’t seem to be making any new clubs.

Aldila

This company makes shafts for drivers, woods, hybrids, and irons. They are pretty high-end but I don’t have too much experience using them.

Ben Ross Golf

Their slogan is excellence made affordable. They make all types of clubs, bags, and clothing. The prices are pretty good and so are the clubs.

Ben Hogan Golf

This company makes all types of golf clubs and is supposed to deliver legendary performance at factory-direct prices. I believe they only sell online but the prices are still pretty high.

Ben Sayers Golf

This is a UK company that’s supposed to be one of the oldest golf companies around. The website doesn’t seem to be the most up to date and I’ve never tried them out so I don’t know if they’re still making golf clubs.

Bettinardi Golf

These guys make putters and wedges that are pretty pricey but perform really well. There are a number of players on tour using them as well.

Bridgestone Golf

I’m sure you’ve heard of this company before but they’re most known for their golf balls. They also make all types of clubs (don’t think they make putters yet).

Byron Morgan Putters

This is a company that allows you to build your own custom putter. They don’t do anything else at the time of writing this.

Carnahan Golf

Best known for their cheaper wedges that actually perform really well.

Callaway

I’d say this is the second most popular golf company and they actually make some of my favorite clubs. They make pretty much everything out there. Clubs, bags, balls, and one of my favorite irons, the Apex Cf16.

Cleveland Golf

Here is another well-known company that’s probably most known for their wedges. They also make some really good game-improvement clubs (the Launcher HB irons). They were bought by Srixon in 2007.

This is a British company that has made golf products in the past. They don’t seem to be doing much in the golf industry these days but you can still find their products in some stores.

Edelmetall Golf

This is a German company that makes irons. I’ve never tried them and I don’t know if they make anything else but I believe you have to go to Germany to get them.

Element 21

This was a Canadian golf company and I don’t know if they’re still around. I couldn’t find a website and I couldn’t find many newer clubs for sale.

Forgan Golf

This is a golf company that’s been around for a long time and got its start in St Andrews. Their clubs are now manufactured in the USA and distributed around the world. They have some pretty cheap stuff as well but I haven’t tried any yet.

Fourteen Golf

This company was created in Japan and makes all types of clubs. They actually make some of my favorite wedges.

Gauge Design

Here is a company that makes putters and wedges. They say they’re the most precise milled putters out there but I haven’t been able to try them yet.

GigaGolf

This is another direct to consumer golf company that sells all types of clubs. I’ve never used any but have heard a lot of people say good things.

Henry Griffitts

Komperdell Golf

KZG Golf

This is an American golf company that makes all types of golf clubs. They customize all their clubs to fit your swing as best as possible.

Louisville Golf

This is an American golf company that makes hickory golf clubs. They look like old clubs that were used back in the day but everything is modern. I’ve never hit their clubs but I have hit older wooden clubs and am really intrigued by them.

Lynx Golf

This is a UK golf company that makes a bunch of different golf clubs. I haven’t used any of their modern clubs but have used an older 7 wood and absolutely love it.

MacGregor Golf

This is a UK company that’s been around for a long time and continues to make golf clubs. Jack Nicklaus won with one of their putters in 1986.

Nakashima Golf

This is an American golf company that has all types of clubs. I’ve never used any of them yet.

Odyssey Golf

This is a golf brand that’s owned by Callaway. They make probably the most well-known putters on the market and it’s what I’ve been using for a number of years (the Odyssey O-Works).

Old Tom Golf

This is a golf company that only sells online and ships their products directly to the customer. They want to eliminate the middle man to keep things less expensive.

Orlimar Golf

This company makes all types of golf clubs which are some of the more unique ones on the market.

Perfect Club

This company just makes drivers and they’re supposed to be some of the most accurate drivers on the market.

PING

Another one of the more popular golf companies out there. They make everything out there and are the ones who built one of my favorite clubs of all time, the G400.

Piretti Golf

This is a newer golf company that makes custom milled putters, irons, and wedges.

Scotty Cameron

They currently hold the market share for extremely expensive and high-end putters. They don’t make wedges or irons but they are quite popular on tour. I’m not the biggest fan but some people swear by them.

Slazenger

This is a company that makes a bunch of different products in various sports. I’ve only ever tried their golf balls but they do have some cheaper golf clubs available.

Srixon

This is another popular golf company in North America and is best known for its golf balls. They also have some awesome clubs but my favorite product from them is the Soft Feel golf balls.

Titleist

I probably don’t have to tell you about this company. They’ve been well known in the golf world for some time now and make some of the most popular golf balls on the market (Pro V). They also make all types of clubs.

Tommy Armour Golf

This company makes all kinds of golf clubs and I believe they’re only available at Dick’s Sporting Goods.

Tour Edge

This is an American golf company that makes all types of clubs. They haven’t always been that popular but they’re actually making some decent golf equipment that’s not overly expensive.

Vokey

This company makes wedges with Titleist. They don’t do anything else and that’s probably why they make some of the more popular wedges on tour. They’re also very customizable.

Wilson Staff
